Good day:
Apparently I’m going to become a superhero for a CBC bit.
I joined the Mountain Bike team
And CIDA likes my Civiblog project.
All cool.

I also went to watch the World Cup of Hockey Finals and K&J’s. Some fun peeps there. Was a good time, the hockey could have been more exciting, but was still pretty good. We tried to get Sara watching via a webcam stream, but it was only half successful. After Canada won, we wandered down to YOnge and Dundas – which was of course packed with people. Thousands yelling and cheering, waving flags and honking horns. While I find the whole thing kinda bemusing (pro sports an odd phenomena), what was neat was the cross-section of people in Dundas Sq. The majority of people were honkeys, but there was a large and extremely diverse audience in attendence, all reveling in teh glory of the win. I love Torornto for this, i think its a neat example of multi-culturalism. Its just ice to know that everyone can enjoy what is typically a honky sport.
