The argument is of course retarded, the government does not extort taxes, the government was popularly elected with implicit support of taxation. Furthermore, it IS within the governments purview to distribute money as they see fit. Its part of being elected.

Whats most ignorant is the short term vision of these people – ultimately the long term consequence of the aid will be restored economies and more economic possibilities.

I’m not above punching that guy in the nose.
