I am back into being insanely busy again. Which is both good and bad. I finally managed to get the Citizen Lab media guides printed and they look great, i’m quite happy with them. I’ll put one online soon. I also managed to get the dead computers from the lab recycled – which was a long time coming. Raf, the new director of the lab in Deeb’s absence made it a priority to get the lab tidied up, which is fine and needed to happen. But it is still a huge pain in the ass to get things purchased and we need some more shelving and storage. The added legwork of price quotes, proposals, confirmations, procurements and flaming hoops makes it a time consuming process. I’m quite adept at working the U of T bureaucracy now – which is great, but it is still no less frustrating.
