The Oracular Brickbreaker

I was in one of those long and tedious meetings today; the sort of meeting where you have already contributed whatever it was you were bound to contribute, but are obligated to stay for the remainder.

We were deep, deep down the rabbit hole of the particular project at hand, debating the finer points of Quality Assurance theory and practice when I thought I’d throw in a little brickbreaker on my blackberry to alleviate the the dullness.  No, this is not regular practice, yes it’s poor form, but it was the only thing between me and leaving.

So, there we were in this epic grind of a meeting and I fire up brickbreaker.  I resume the game I’d started previously, i can’t remember the level but I get three ‘special’ bricks in rapid sucession.  These are the bricks that give you special abilities; lasers, guns, bombs, multiple balls etc.

My three special bricks hit me with:

LONG

SLOW

LIFE

I believe i uttered aloud “ain’t that the truth, blackberry” before holstering it and dipping back into the meeting.
