I like how this post began with a blogger&#039;s whimsy about a song and ended with correspondence with the songwriter. I haven&#039;t seen such diligent blogwork since the explanation of Hopkin Frog. http://mike.whybark.com/archives/001951.html

I heard this Yakko&#039;s song last week because it was on an old mix I had made. I never considered Tibet but I was always surprised at the inclusion of Palestine.  I&#039;m surprised it was only an issue of rhyming (though that does explain using Abu Dhabi in place of the United Arab Emirates.). 

Also I was disappointed that Burkina Faso didn&#039;t make the cut because I like the name of its capital.
